To enhance still further the rarity of this cognac, specially blended by Christophe Valtaud for the first edition of Les Remarquables de Martell, the House commissioned French artist Laurentine Perilhou, who has elevated the ancestral craft of macramé into an art form.

Precise and painstaking, she uses no tools, only her ten fingers, to create precious and original pieces – jewellery, decorative objects, artworks – and has collaborated with some of France’s most prestigious haute couture houses (Balmain, Dior, Guerlain, Lanvin etc.).
